An Interview with Gary Taylor, Author of Luggage by Kroger

For Gary Taylor, Houston Texas journalist, writing his award winning true crime memoir, Luggage by Kroger, was truly personal. In 1981 Catherine Mehaffey, a real life femme fatale, tried to kill Taylor. Mehaffey claimed self-defense, but she was tried and found guilty of attempted murder. The verdict was overturn on appeal, but in 1983 she agreed to probation for aggravated assault.
